Bridges of New York
Bridges of New York
Size: 50” x 33.3”
The photo shows the arteries that feed the city never sleeps, multiplied to amplify the volume commuters who frequently cross these bustling bridges into Manhattan.
This piece is part of Adam’s “Urban Reflections” series that explores the chaos of today's cities from unique, dizzying perspectives.
The reverse acrylic subframe provides a sleek and contemporary finish to this piece. This framing technique involves a fine art C-Type photographic print mounted between a sheet of perspex and an aluminium-backing sheet. It removes the need for a heavy frame, eliminates unwanted light reflections and comes with a subframe on the back, making it easy to hang (it is much lighter than a frame with glass). It also allows the piece to sit virtually flush to a wall when hung, adding to its modern aesthetic.
