Are you one of those people who have a great camera but are stuck shooting mainly on “Auto”? I’m here to help you unleash the full creative capabilities of what the camera can do and show you how to create fantastic images.
As an award winning and internationally renowned photographer, I’ve captured global sporting events, been commissioned to work for major brands such as Nike, Four Seasons Hotels, Visa and L’Oreal, and photographed iconic people including Sir Mick Jagger, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu and Presidents Bill Clinton, George W Bush and Barack Obama. My fine-art work is regularly displayed in museums and galleries, has hung in state senates and forms part of exclusive private collections including the "Sir Elton John Photography Collection".
I aim to bring all of this experience to offer private photography lessons, whether you’re a beginner or an expert. No experience is required - you can be using an Iphone or DSLR / mirrorless camera.
I am confident with almost 20 years teaching experience that I will help you create great photographs either way.
I offer remote photography lessons via Zoom/Skype. These cover all aspects of digital photography, post-production, Lightroom, Photoshop and much more. All classes are customized to your level of skill and what you enjoy taking photos.

I bring my wealth of photographic experience to offer private, enjoyable and exciting photography lessons to those with all levels of expertise in San Francisco throughout Silicon Valley and London. One to one tuition is a great way to accelerate your photographic education and can be tailored by you, for you, dependent on your level of expertise and photographic interest. Whether you are a complete beginner and want to learn the fundamentals of your DSLR, or an industry professional who wants to take your photography onto the next level, both my passion and wealth of photographic knowledge across a variety of different photographic disciplines means that I can provide bespoke private tuition to best suit your needs. Workshops are designed around an effective combination of theory and practical techniques and cover all aspects of how to use your camera to its full potential, lighting, framing, composition and post production using programs including Lightroom and Photoshop. All camera models including phones are encouraged as lessons are very much geared around getting you to start 'seeing' like a photographer before advancing onto the more technical aspects of photography.

Cost: from $150 / £125 per hour.
These photography lessons are popular gifts and are suitable to anyone regardless of ones photographic experience. Digital vouchers can be provided on request to be given as part of the gift with recipients then being able to choose a convenient date for their workshop to take place.

San Francisco Group Photography Classes
I also offer private, bespoke group photography classes throughout London/San Francisco seven days a week including evenings and weekends. From learning the fundamentals of your digital SLR camera, to rules in creative composition these photography classes will take you to some of London’s most exciting areas to practice the skills that you learn and teach you how to start seeing things like a professional photographer. Classes can also cover digital post-production techniques and archiving.
Minimum number required is three.
